Garden centers and plant nurseries sell annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, vegetables and houseplants, along with soil, mulch, fertilizer, pots and tools. Independent nurseries often grow part of their own stock and carry varieties that do well in the local climate, while big-box garden departments compete on price for common plants. Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Arlington is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Arlington is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Buster is AWESOME. we can always find what we NEED here at prices less than half what's charged next-door. there's summer shade to be found as well as relaxed conversation. never a push to buy "now" like at other nurseries. plants are in better shape than at nearby nurseries & garden centers. selection may be less, but what he has is worth the cost.

This is a hard review to write because I hate to put down a local business. However: Yesterday I purchased 4 plant from them. Three were supposed to be butterfly weed. The tags identified them as butterfly weed and not tropical milkweed. I even asked the woman who checked me out if they were tropical and she said no. They are. I did some research when I go home and tropical milkweed has sooth stems and lots of sap when you pull a leaf off. Native butterfly weed has harry stems and little to no sap. I compared them to the real butterfly weed I have already and sure enough, it is tropical. I also bought a fern there and while I was checking out, I noticed the underside of the leaves covered in what looks like scale. She tried to tell me it was part of the plant, but since I had not checked out yet, I swapped it for a healthy one. I know what scale looks like. This nursery is only a couple of miles from my house but I won't shop here again.

Nice little local nursery. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable of the plants. The spot is very shaded so the plants get a good mix of sun and shade. The only cons is that there isnt too much variety for indoor plants mainly outdoor plants. But overall the prices are fairly cheap for some of the plans we got
